Highly complex aromas of crushed herb, brine, and dark fruit dominated by blackberry and blueberry with hints of black currant. Flavors of mixed, juicy dark berries and hints of cocoa on the palate. 

Shiraz from The Prisoner Wine Company was not specifically listed among their wine offerings. The Saldo label typically focused on red blends that included Zinfandel as a primary varietal along with other red grape varieties sourced from California vineyards.
